The Experiment is a self-organizing fashion show concept under the FashionMSP umbrella (formerly Fashion Week MN). We’re removing every layer of control we’ve ever had.

Here’s what FashionMSP will do:

• Give you the venue

• Lock the date

• Cover the insurance

• Handle the media and marketing

And that’s it.

Everything else? You decide.

Be it a fashion show, a photo shoot, a pop-up shop, a dance party in ballgowns, or simply bringing together the best up-and-coming designers for a lunch and learn… It is up to all of you! As a community, you’re in charge of:

• Creative direction

• Production

• Food & beverage

• Ticketing & pricing

• Sponsorships

• Run-of-show

If you pull it off, it could be the most beautiful, connected show this city’s ever seen.

If you don’t… We sit in the empty space, order pizza, and toast to trying something bold.
