So, what happened to Fashion Week?

For nearly a decade, Fashion Week MN was the heartbeat of the Twin Cities style scene—two epic weeks a year when designers, stylists, models, photographers, and fashion lovers came together to create something bigger than themselves.

But the industry changed. Social media blurred the lines between runway seasons. Creators wanted more freedom. Audiences wanted more access. And our community made it clear: they want to be part of something bigger.

So, we listened.

FashionMSP is the next chapter—an all-year platform built for experimentation, connection, and bold ideas. It’s not just a week anymore. It’s a living, breathing space where events, collaborations, and moments can happen anytime, anywhere.

We’ve also joined forces with Mpls.St.Paul Magazine as our official media partner. Together, we’ll be building a central hub for fashion events in the city—where every FashionMSP event will be listed on our site and The Scene calendar on Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. Partnerships like these help raise your visibility with local editors and the larger fashion community, with more than 1,000,000 monthly impressions on the magazine’s site.

We’re keeping the heart of Fashion Week MN, but ditching the old playbook. No more “fashion calendar” gatekeeping. No more waiting months for the next big thing. No more central ownership. No more face of fashion.

The Experiment is our first leap in this new era—handing over the mic completely to the community. The future of fashion in Minneapolis–Saint Paul is now in your hands. We’re just giving you the stage.
