THE FUTURE OF MINNESOTA FASHION
This isn’t just a show—it’s a movement.
Twenty years after Minnesota first established a dedicated fashion organization, a new era is unfolding. FashionMSP is reimagining what fashion week can be: bold, collaborative, and powered entirely by the creative community itself.
The Experiment is the first-ever self-organized fashion event from FashionMSP—an open-source model that hands the reins to designers, models, photographers, stylists, producers, and makers. No rules. Just raw creativity, collective energy, and a shared passion for what’s next.
EVENT OVERVIEW
On Friday, December 6, The Whim in Northeast Minneapolis will come alive with a one-night-only showcase of Minnesota’s creative class.
Built by the community, for the community, The Experiment is a multi-dimensional experience featuring a local makers’ market, a runway showcase, and a paparazzi-style community runway—each offering a new way to see, feel, and participate in Minnesota fashion.
This is where ideas take shape, barriers come down, and the future of local fashion takes center stage.
